Ergonomic Healthcare light is recommended by doctors and researchers as a non pharmaco-logical intervention – an active part of treatment. Ergonomic Healthcare light makes a difference in several specialties – from recovery, inten-sive care, rehabilitation, etc.
Read more about selected specialties on our homepage or contact us if you want knowledge about a particular specialty. We often offer a tour at the hospitals where we have implemented lighting, so you can hear the user’s experience in the same area as you – and you can experience the effect of light with your own eyes.
Also, the showroom in Bangkok and the Czech Republic and our rolling showroom will for sure be an experience and an eye opener for everyone.
Patients in neurosurgical intensive care are vulnerable and require special care. When the patients become conscious, they typically do not know where they are. They are confused, unable to orient themselves – and their circadian rhythm is often disturbed.
Circadian Lighting has an immediate noticeable effect on both patients and staff – and affect the patient’s sleep pattern in a positive way. A patient who gets a full night’s sleep is better rested – and thus less confused and thus ready for early rehabilitation.
To LIGHTCARE® The Good Light is about contributing to a good experience, and about feeling safe and welcome. We all know that in principle there is nothing without light, and therefore the sense of sight is the most important of all our senses. The best light is the natural light that consists of the sky light which is diffuse light, and then the direct sun light which creates direction and life. Our main goal is therefore to imitate the natural daylight and create different atmospheres adapted to different spaces throughout the day
Look for the logos with TW and TC and the luminaire is already adapted to the LIGHTCARE® control system. We think and care about comfort, design and quality and this matches our view on producing and thinking about sustainability and circular economy.
Controlling the lighting dynamically is our cuttingedge competence, where we can easily and innovatively create Full Dynamic Circadian Lighting, with different moods adapted to the needs of our users, containing a research validated light protocol. Lighting is part of the architecture and must contribute in creating the space both day and night. We unite design and good lighting by creating luminaires fulfilling both criteria
To us, it is about producing close to the final destination avoiding long freight, using the best and least polluting materials and thinking about longevity and maximum recycling. Therefore, we would also like to repair any defective and end of life fixtures rather than just throwing them away. That makes sense to us and we want to contribute to a common future.
Next, of course, it must live up to today’s technology and energy consumption, which is mostly achieved through the use of LED technology. The technology is well developed, and excellent colour rendering can be achieved (CRI 97), so almost all the shades can be seen in all parts of the spectrum.
